Seven Compete, Three Medal at State

Cedar Springs entered seven wrestlers to compete at the State Finals ; three finished in the placement rounds, earning All State recognition. Sophomore Quinten Cassiday (126) finished his season 47-2, bringing home the title of State Runner Up. Other accomplishments include the following: Kent County Classic Champion; RCA Conference Champion, & District Champion; Regional Runner up. Junior Luke Egan (138) medaled as the State Runner Up. Egan finished his season 50-3, including the following notables: Kent County Classic Champion; RCA Conference Champion, District Champion, Regional Champion, 3x All State recognition. Egan also claimed his 100% Varsity career win this year. Junior Tyler Parmeter (157) finished his season 52-4, with a 3rd place finish at State. Parmeter achieved the following titles: Kent County Classic Champion, RCA Conference Champion, District Champion, Regional Runner up, 3x All State recognition, and claimed his 100th and 150th varsity career wins this season. Peyton Farrell (113) ended his sophomore campaign 36-17; sophomore Deegan Pike (150) ended his season 39-17. Senior Hudson Crystal (165) ended his season 42-14; and Senior Thomas Prins (190) ended his wrestling season 30-15.
