This has been a super week for the Red Hawks!!! The team worked hard this week to make upgrades and changes to all 3 rounds! One of the most exciting changes was adding back handsprings back into round 2! This was a season goal coaches gave the girls, and they came through and smashed this goal. The team traveled to Sparta for the first ever RCA conference meet! They came out strong in round 1 setting them ahead of the other teams. The team performed well and very strong in all 3 rounds soaring above the competition. We also debuted our brand new fundraised round 3 uniforms! Overall, it was a very exciting night! We take the mat for RCA conference meet # 2, January 23rd at Lowell High School. On Saturday, we traveled to Stoney Creek High School for the Cougar Spirit Invitational. This is an exciting competition to attend to as many regional and state qualifying teams compete. While we didn’t have the outcome we wanted, the team persevered and gave their best effort in all 3 rounds. Overall, it was a great experience for the girls to see teams from all over the state. We are looking forward to getting back into the gym on Monday to spend the week cleaning, upgrading, and repping all 3 rounds. We take the mat again week Friday at Mt. Pleasant High School for the Oiler Invite!
