Weekly recap 12/9 - 12/13: This past weekend we had choreography and outside coaching come in to help us perfect our rounds and clean them up before our first competition. We also participated in the Cedar Springs Christmas Parade. All week was spent on cleaning rounds 1 and 2 and putting together round 3. Friday night, team 23 took the mat for their first competition. They absolutely blew it out of the water and showed up strong in rounds 1 and 2. They preserved through a brand new round 3 that was only 6 days old! We are excited to get back into the gym to prepare for Plainwell next Saturday. Weekly recap: 12/16 - 12/31 Before break, we helped our middle school host the inaugural RCA middle school conference finals! We were also able to sneak in and perform our rounds for the crowd. The rest of the week was dedicated to cleaning rounds 1 and 2, and adding more sections to our round 3. We also celebrated the holiday season with our “dip”mas and secret Santa party. Saturday morning, we traveled to Plainwell for our last competition of 2024. The team performed well in all 3 rounds placing 2nd! Now we are headed into break! We will be practicing and working on perfecting our 3 rounds before our ONLY home event of the season! Next up is our only home event!! Red Hawk Rumble at the high school, 9am Saturday January 4, 2025. All of our levels (2-12) will be performing and/or competing at this competition! Come out, support, and ring in the new year with some cheer! We are hoping to bring in a huge crowd to support these hard working athletes.
